Travis and Skepta are slated to co-headline Mirror Mirror in December Travis Scott has resumed touring.
The rapper from Houston provided additional festival information a few weeks after revealing his headline slot at Rolling Loud LA. Travis and Skepta will co-headline Mirror Mirror.
The late fashion designer Virgil Abloh’s life and legacy will be celebrated at the festival. After a two-year struggle with cardiac angiosarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer, Virgil passed away in November of last year. He was 41.
Yves Tumor, Venus X, and others will also perform at Mirror Mirror. Shannon Abloh, Virgil’s wife, made a statement regarding the memorial festival.
Shannon said, “Virgil had the power to unite everyone and work magic.” “With the help of his close associates, we wanted to gather everyone to honour Virgil-his legacy, his enthusiasm, and his concern for others.
He felt that helping others was his true calling, and we will carry on his support of young people in the arts by establishing the Virgil Abloh Foundation in 2023.
Virgil was Louis Vuitton’s artistic director for men. He was also the longtime creative director of Kanye West and developed the high-end streetwear brand Off-White.
Travis and Abloh collaborated on Scott’s Cactus Jack clothing line. Producing the event was Virgil Abloh Securities. It will take place on December 3 at Art Basel.
Following the release of Astroworld Tragedy last year, Travis Scott slowly made a comeback with the singles Mirror Mirror and Rolling Loud LA. But after the tragic Astroworld tragedy, he forgot to drop off the bill.
Mirror Mirror tickets go on sale this Wednesday (November 23). The Virgil Abloh Foundation will benefit from the money raised.
